THE MARYLAND FOAM ALLIANCE PRESENTS THE MARYLAND FOAM TOURNAMENT

The Maryland Foam Alliance is excited to host the 2026 Maryland Foam Tournament!

​​​

Whether you are a foam flinging veteran or new to the hobby, if you enjoy competition then you’ll want to join us for the second annual Maryland Foam Tournament. Have a blast competing for prizes for 1st place, 2nd & 3rd place, to include a first place trophy, and cash, medals, and other prizes for the top three teams.

With the top names in the community sure to return as sponsors, this is a competition you won’t want to miss being a part of. Whether it's participating or spectating, you’ll have a great time. (All players must be at least 12, under 18 must be accompanied by a present adult)

 

 

HOW IT WORKS:

Teams of 5 to 8 players will register their team online, practice at home, and compete in the Maryland Foam tournament for their chance at winning the MFT cup, a small cash prize and more! Teams will qualify by playing Round Robin bracket style for placement in the Finals Tournament. In both the Round Robin and Finals, the winners will be decided by scoring points in Flag Dash. Flag Dash is a Flag push & Elimination based game type. More information and last year's rules can be found below. Updates to rules will be announced as they are made.

 

 

HOW TO SIGN UP:

Team registration will be opened on January 10th, and requires the following:

 - A General Admission Ticket to MFT 2026 per-member, linked below ($0)

 - Per-member accounts on the MDFA website with a working email (you may be asked to make on one checkout automatically)

 - A filled out Spot Card for the team, the template for which you can find [HERE]

 - A unique team logo, either uploaded independently or part of the Spot Card (details to be announced)

 - Unique team names are required, [X Team] 1 and [X Team] 2, etc, will not be sufficient

Friday 

8:00 AM: Players Arrive

9:00 AM: Opening Ceremony

9:30 AM: First Match

5:00 PM: Vendor Area Cleanup Starts

6:30 PM: Team Staging Cleanup

Saturday

8:00 AM: Top 8 Arrive

9:00 AM: Doors Open

9:30 AM: First Match

11:30 AM: Award Ceremony
